"Stevie did a great job and was extremely flexible working with our schedule and very short notice (about 1.5 - 2 weeks after we contracted her, my wife went into labor). She was on the spot, provided great info, got to the birth center before we did, helped coordinate resources, and did an excellent job coaching my wife on pain management. We believe all the various techniques and quick thinking that Stevie employed helped make our natural birth a great experience that was enjoyable. This is the first of our four births that we reflect on fondly, and it is also the first in which we used a doula. I think Stevie was a huge part of that. 10/10 would highly recommend to others."
"Our entire experience with Stevie was absolutely amazing! This being my first child and birth experience, I was a little apprehensive about all of it of course. I took birthing classes, but by and large, the reason the labor and delivery went as planned was due to Stevie's calm, reassuring, and supportive nature. Our prenatal appointments helped me focus and think through my plan. She is so loving and calm! (Which is what one would expect from a yoga instructor!) We talked about my needs as a whole and when I went into labor, she was there to help me in the way that I needed (which is not an easy task!) I struggled a lot during the transition phase of labor, and it was Stevie that I turned to and was able to look out for my needs at that moment (sorry, hubs). I cannot say enough positive things about Stevie. My plan was to have a natural birth and Stevie worked with me to make sure my plan was followed in the most loving and gentle way. However, I also knew that if I really needed it, she would support me in any decision I made at that time. That being said, it was because of Stevie, and only Stevie, that I followed through with my birth plan and I am so glad I did! I couldn't have done it without her. She also has experience with prenatal yoga which I did not take advantage of but want to next time! I am so glad that Stevie was my doula and am so happy with the experience. We will definitely be using Stevie again (without a doubt)."
"Stevie was amazing; we could not have asked for a more calming, caring person to join us for our first birth! We HIGHLY recommend her. We interviewed other doulas, and we decided on Stevie because of her positivity, knowledge, experience, and wonderful personality. Stevie met with us twice for prenatal visits. She listened intently about what we wanted and asked very thoughtful questions. She showed us different laboring positions and talked us through some of her suggestions for the birthing process. It was clear that she wanted to make sure she was on the same page as us. She never judged our preferences, and she helped guide us through things that we hadn't even thought about. She was also very helpful in answering any email or text questions that I had during my pregnancy.
When my due date got close, Stevie checked in with us constantly and offered suggestions to naturally induce labor once my due date passed. I ended up having to be induced due to preeclampsia, but Stevie was so supportive and talked us through the whole thing. Even before we asked Stevie to join us at the hospital, she stayed up all night by her phone and checked in with us all through the night. It was just such a relief to know she was ready to come at any moment. Stevie joined us at the hospital once we felt like we needed her, and when she arrived we immediately felt like everything was under control.
She used the deep breathing we had started to create our ritual that took us through our long labor and delivery. She was a background presence when she needed to be, and she stepped up and took control when that was needed. We really felt like she "brought it home" the last three hours of labor and that we couldn't have done it without her. She followed up with a postnatal visit, and we have stayed in touch with her ever since. The best way to describe our experience with Stevie is that we now consider her part of our family."

"I knew from the beginning I wanted to have a natural childbirth experience and wasn't sure I was really going to accomplish that so I started with a private Yoga session and we met Stevie. From day one she made me feel comfortable and without knowing, helped me build up my confidence that I would be able to stick to my plan. However, we ran into some issues around 20 weeks and Stevie was as always supportive and helped us along the way and I knew then that I wanted her to be my doula. I feel that Stevie was sent from God to remind me that all things are possible when we put our faith in him. If you're looking for a caring, passionate, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional doula, look no further. Even when the doctor wasn't professional, Stevie was and kept me focus and moving along. If I ever have another, Stevie will be a part of my care team without a doubt."
